My professor was going over different methods of abortion. As she got more graphic, I just started to cry. I had to leave. I'm a dork.
I know people who did abortion and Im dont agree with this particular method but I dont put down those people because they are just humans, everyone makes horrible mistakes and these people do have very deep regrets about the wrong choice they made...
You should have put a PERIOD after the word human and left it at that
It's called Diplomacy and you will encounter difficulty in your nursing profession if you don't learn how to be diplomatic.

That makes me a BIG dork.
I'm 6'7" and 275 lbs of total crybaby when it comes to seeing very sick/terminal children. I am still a student, but I already know that I just can not work in peds, as I am reduced to a large, sniveling pile of tears.

And take me with ya, honey! Because I'm the same exact way. (All right, not 6'7"....and actually, no longer 275#, but still....)
I also couldnt manage well when they were taking pp out of new orleans and making pp leave their pets I had nightmares of these trusting animals wandering-unless tied up-wondering where their humans were and why were they not with them. It was sooo sad. They didnt want to leave their pets-cuz those pets never would have left them alone.
You are NOT a dork( or anything else) for crying. If the abortion procedure was done on a month old baby most others in your class would be crying, too. You look at things differently than some other people do and there is nothing wrong with that.

Now that I said that, I have to ask if you just had tears rolling down your face or were you SOBBING? One day I went to see a presentation given by a doctor and his family. His son had miraculously survived leukemia. I was sobbing so loudly but I couldn't help it. I didn't want to leave, though, because I would have missed something.
I was in my GYNs office yesterday for a checkup, and he was telling me about a patient who was 17 weeks and got chickenpox. Her baby was dead, and he was crying as was I at hearing that. I'm 63 years old and have been a nurse for 33 years. Compassion for your fellow man/woman is nothing to be be ashamed of. No you aren't a dork.

I'd really like to think that was the case but there was respiration and our instructor confirmed they were still alive.
