How will you optimize your personal mental health if "the other guy" wins the election?

Thus, if you support Trump and Biden wins or if you support Biden and Trump wins? What approaches will you consider implementing to minimize your feelings of disappointment, sadness and maximize positive relations with coworkers, patients, and others that you come into contact with? Personally, I plan to focus more "on my own life" but also look for opportunities to become more socially and perhaps politically active in the causes that I believe to be important.  Does anyone have any other "tips" on how to handle these situations for better personal mental health and more harmonious relationships?

Part of my PTrSD self care and Winter isolation will include time with a couple new PS3 games.  My 4 year old grandson really likes the fishing games because they allow boat driving, but he's pretty good at that Lego Star Wars stuff.  He walks into fewer walls than me.

If you wanted to upgrade to a PS4 it should be a real bargain since the PS5 comes out this year.

Nah.

My daughter gave us this one so that I could access Hulu, etc on my tv using my cellphone hotspot. It's a bonus that there are cheap and easy games that will entertain my 4.5 yo grandson when he spends the night and outside play options are limited.  

My granddaughter brings her fancy new machine with her when she visits.  LOL

Her mother traveled with a Gameboy.

My self care involved buying better wine.  Everything is closed here except for take-out.  We cook every meal ourselves any and I am enjoying celebrating with a little bubbly with every dinner.  Sleeping well after 4 years of waking up with bad dreams.  Looking forward to the vaccine.  Just knowing that Hitler-lite will be out of the WH soon and enjoying every moment of his demise has been a great boost for my mental health.

I too am sleeping better. I feel like a great weight has lifted, even in the face of skyrocketing infection rates. I used to grab my phone first thing in the morning to see what was the horrible action of the day.                                    The corruption continues, but new beginnings are on the horizon.

I have been making regular donations to our local food bank. That helps me and hopefully, those in need.

Well it turns out for me the answer seems to be buying a whole bunch of ammo, AR10's, AR 15's, and planning to move to Wyoming (in a rural area), learn how to hunt Elk, live off the land and starting my own business. Now if the Republicans end up holding at least one of the Georgia Senate seats perhaps I'll renew the Disney passes instead and buy a PS5.

It is more reasonable with the 308 round in the AR10 than the smaller 223 round used in the AR15., however both are legal rounds for hunting in most states. Of course if I don’t know how to field dress and prep the animal for storage then hunting is irrelevant. Also chronic wasting disease is a concern.
