How about a thread for baby names you liked?

Published

What are some of the names you've heard pts. name their babies that you liked?

(I'll add my own later, i need to check on the spelling of two of them)

My wife and I have decided that if we have a boy we would name him Leighton Isaac or Isaac Leighton.

I've always like Schuyler, Moira, Anne and Claire for girls. For boys I like Craig, Noah, Ray, and Jack. :)

Since I work in LTC most of the names that catch my fancy are older such as Inez, Meta, Aletha. But my all time fav belongs to one of my oldest friends.

Rea-I-Na Marie. I just love the way it sounds and the flow to it. Another friend is Reanna Marie, our parents lived next door to each other LOL......wonder why I ended up as plain ol Denise :o

I don't know if I posted this on here before but....my grandson's name is to be Xander Jacob. Isn't that cute?

I like names that can be spelled and pronounced easily since my own name caused me much grief when I was growing up. Not many people could spell let along pronounce it properly because it was unusual at the time. I still have problems with people having a hard time pronouncing it when they see it written. It is often misspelled.

For girls I like Sarah, Sally, Jackie, Tracy, Tammy, Peggy, Margaret, Ramona, Ardyce, Juanita, Betty, Hazel

For boys I like Robert, Wayne, Leon, Tim, Guy, Anthony, William, Allen, Matthew, Greg, Todd

I guess that I'm just old fashioned.

Kinda like the name Dylan. I've heard it pronounced Dillan or Dielan.

I have a son named Dylan (pronounced like "Dillon"). I also have a son named Drew (just Drew...not a nickname for Andrew).
