What are some of the names you've heard pts. name their babies that you liked?

My daughters are Miranda and Mikayla, I also like Alexis for a girl, We would've named Miranda Austin if she was a boy but my cousin beat me to it, my cousins' babies are also Devin and Chase, which I like. My best friends' sons are Ashton and Ethan, I like them although Ethan's becoming pretty common. Still looking for a M girl name for the baby I'm carrying. My husband likes Michelle, which I think is a little too common, My older daughter likes Melanie but my husband isn't crazy about it, I like Mackenzie, but my husband doesn't like it, I was thinking about changing Michelle a little and making it Michella (pronounced the same except the a at the end), but I wonder if people would spell it/pronounce it wrong. Tonya

How bout Malorie, McKenna, Melissa...??

Peggy isn't short for another name, is it?
It is short for Margaret. I am not sure how they got that one. My daughter is Meghan another form of Maragaret. MY mother goes by Rita, but her name is Margaret. (I guess it comes from Maragarita) I also like Holly and Shannon. My other two daughters' names and Audrey , Maureen, and Rose. For boys I like Kevin, Steven, Scott, Joseph, or Paul. OOps. I was not at the end, but one page back. I like your link. Thanks Kelly!

My faves are Henry James, Anneliese Louise and Isabel Moriah. I dont have time to read all the posts now, so I hope Im not redundant. Oh I like Ophelia too.:)

I have 4 daughters and they all ,thankfully, like their names. Elysa Ann (pronounced like Melissa without the M), Erica Janine, Cassandra and Deanna (pronounced Dee- anna).

I work in a pediatric ED and one name that I see very often and have come to like is Imani. I don't know why, I just like it - not a name I'd choose, though if I ever had a child.

I like more traditional names: Lauren, Amanda, Madeleine, Joshua, William, Alex. I could probably come up with a list of 20 girls names I like. :p

Yes Imani! my best friend when I was 16 yrs old sister's name was Imani. And I just loved it, Dang, now wish I would have named my daughter that Imani Rose{Verb} not flower. Unique unique and oh so beautiful. I believe the name has something to with a queen not not to sure I'll look into it.

How bout Malorie, McKenna, Melissa...??

I like McKenna, but don't know if dh will b/c he doesn't like McKenzie. i'm not too crazy about Malorie for some reason, and one of my best friends is named Melissa. We are thinking about Melody Michelle (my 3 1/2 year old's favorite).

A friend of mine named her little girl Marley, and I thought it was so cute. My kids are Hayley Elizabeth and Kyle Thomas.

Years ago, there was a soap opera character with that name. Davidson was the middle name.

I really like Hannah, Grace, Hallie, and Ava for girls. For boys I like Ashton, Sterling, and Harrison (long I know but there is just something about them that I like). Oh, and my new niece is Lillian Rose, which I like alot better than what they were going to name a boy; Wooder Lincoln aaaaaahhhhhh. Well, Lincoln is a family name but still. Oh, and my husbands name is Aavram, which I absolutely love.
