What are some of the names you've heard pts. name their babies that you liked?
(I'll add my own later, i need to check on the spelling of two of them)
My absolute favorite girl's name is Ainsley Cadence. Other girl names I like are Grace, Katelyn, Madelyn, and Amelia.
For boys I like Matthew, Nathan, Brayden, Christopher and Andrew.
I am sure to have a hard time deciding on a name since there are so many I like! Oh well, I will worry about that when the time comes!
I'll have to go with my kids names on this one: my oldest son is Nathanial Wagner (the middle name being a family name), my other son is Blake Andrew, and my daughter is Bailey Nicole. When I was pregnant with the oldest it was supposed to be a girl, so we had the name Madison McKenzie picked out. He's now 6 and thinks that is the funniest thing.
Like everyone else, I love my kids names: My son is Allen Robert, and my daughter is Corinne Amanda. Corinne is pronounced core in. She likes to call herself Coco. My son, much to my chagrin, is called Al by his friends and teachers. If my daughter was a boy I wanted to use the name Elijah. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. My mother, although quite religious, thought it too biblical. I also liked the name Hilary. But my daughter was born just after he was elected, and I was not going to look like I named her for his wife. Hilary (yes, one L) was actually my grandFATHER'S name. I was going to use 2 Ls. I definitely favor traditional names. I don't mind my name either, Melissa Kathryn. Other names I like are Simon, Paul, Phil or Philip, Kenneth. Girl names I like are Tessa, Lana, Amelia, Isabella and Julia. I like others too, but can't think of them at the moment.
My sons are Ethan Eric and Jake Eric. Eric is daddy... I know, I know, but I couldn't not name my second after his daddy also. I love Ben (just Ben). I also love Alistair, but I'd never actually have the courage to name my son that! I like simple boy's names that still have a traditional feel.
No girls (yet), but if I ever have a daughter, she'll be Eden Elly (el-ee). We are very picky about girl's names and that was all I could ever come up with that we both loved!! lol...
We also have a Hebrew/Biblical theme going on with the first names...
My daughters name is Lauren Elizabeth, my husband and I also were throwing around the names Taylor or Olivia but Lauren seems to suit her well. When I was pregnant with her we chose to not find out the sex until birth. We were so convinced we were having a boy that we did not chose her name until it was time to put it on the birth certificate paperwork at the hospital :) I liked someother girl's names that dh didn't like: Nicole, Caitlyn, Ashliegh, Hannah, Mia, and Raina.
For Boys names dh and I almost instantly chose Aiden Christopher. I also like the names Ryan, Benjamin, Jacob, Joshua, Caleb, Jonathan, Zachary but dh didn't like any of those either.
