heather!!! Alistair, like your own name, is scottish and a name to be proud of!!! How much more traditional can you get??? Alistair has many different spellings, check them out, you may find a different way that just clicks with you. I liked craig alistair for my no. 2 babe,( BUT!, she's a girlie called Dee!!) but by the time I had no 3 , Blane Curtis, i had changed my mind. LOOK AT YOUR BABE, then you will know if the name you have chosen is them!

lol... Thanks for the info! I didn't mean for it to come out the way it sounded! ;) I doubt I could get my husband to go for it anyway. I loved Aiden and he nixed that, I loved Barron and he nixed that. I am afraid that (hey, we live in Texas) a name like Alistair is grounds for perpetual torment. ;)

Ok I always name my kids very unique names... so here goes we have decided on the name of baby number 6

Xaria Analaya- ok my husband is in charge of the middle name and I may not have that spelled right....so I will update this if it's wrong

And if I name my son Matthew, he goes by Matthew and if I name my girl Madelyn, she goes by that. My parents named me Elizabeth and NO ONE (except here) shortens it. If they wanted people to call me Liz, they would have named me Liz.
