How old is everyone?

I thought it would be interesting for all of us to share our ages. I'm 27 and I'm pursuing nursing as a second bachelors degree.

I'm 50 and will start the nursing program at my community college this Fall with all my prereqs completed. I'm retiring from my local police department in December after 23 years as a cop. I feel I'm too young to do nothing for the rest of my life and nursing is challenging and rewarding.

I'm 23. I got my Associate's Degree in Health Science, Psychology, and a few others in 2015. I plan on applying to nursing school this fall, hoping to obtain my ADN.

I'm 32. I finished my pre-reqs Fall 2015, but also had a baby that November so I took the last year off to focus on my family and two older children (I have 3 total.) I'm taking my Kaplan on Tuesday, and have to take a math placement test, then I'm all ready to apply to the nursing program for Fall 2017!

I'm 43 and have been thinking of going into nursing for years. I have no idea where to start. I went to community college 24 years ago for Paralegal studies , was short my associates 3 credits transferred to a University for a semester in Criminal Justice. Was a young mother so had to start working full time and never finished. My kids are now 25 , 13, 12, 7 and I need to do something with purpose and this I feel is it. I'm very smart never had problems in school and love people. I live in Mass any help or advice would be appreciated! :)

I'm not familiar with schools in Massachusetts, but a general starting point would be to google locals schools in your area that offer the type of nursing program that you're interested in and complete an application and pay the fee, if applicable. Then, contact your old schools to have them transfer your transcripts. Many colleges have a form that you can complete online to do this. Even though it had been a while since you've been in college, some of your credits may transfer so you could save both time and money. An admissions advisor/counselor at the school you've chosen can also help guide you in the right direction and provide step-by-step instructions on how to proceed. It's never too late to pursue your dream!

Good luck and best wishes!

I'm 27 in a Canadian BSN program that is 4 years long. Only half way done my first year so far, but it'll be worth it! I've been a CNA for 5 years now in SICU and NICU. I believe the icu is where I'll specialize and continue my career!

I'm 17. Waiting for acceptance to a nursing program. I should hear back by the end of this month :)

25! I graduate with my ADN in May and by then, I'll be 26.

Hey, I'm trying to message you but my inbox says you can't accept anymore messages so I can't send you anything. If you upgrade you'll get a huge amount of space.
