  1. I'm in Canada, but I must say becoming a Nursing Assistant was the best thing I did. I did it because I wasn't sure if nursing would be for me, but quickly found that it was. I currently work in the surgical intensive care and neonatal intensive care. I love both units and both have given me so much experience. Our wages are quite higher here though. I'm making 20$/hr and 12hr shifts. It's how I'm supporting myself through school right now.
  2. Also, quizlet is an amazing up to help you study. You can turn the flash cards into tests for yourself. I also found watching crash course on YouTube really broke down a&p for me as well. Hopefully it can help you too!
  3. I agree with littycity, khan Academy and Crash course on YouTube helps me!
  4. I'm 27 in a Canadian BSN program that is 4 years long. Only half way done my first year so far, but it'll be worth it! I've been a CNA for 5 years now in SICU and NICU. I believe the icu is where I'll specialize and continue my career!
