How much time off for Winter Break?

How much time off do you get for Winter Break? I saw another school nurse post in another thread that she gets a week off and it got me curious...

I get two weeks off. Dec. 17th is the last student day. Dec. 18th is a staff work day. We are off Dec. 19th until Jan. 3rd. Come back Jan. 4th.

1st day off for CHRISTMAS BREAK is 12/24, 1st day back is 1/4.

Let's call a spade a spade.

Winter Break is in February.

This. We call it Christmas break here (or holiday break if you want to be very PC). Half day 12/23. Back 1/4. That's the Northeast for you.

I'm planning a Vegas trip during my Feb break :yes:.

This is our winter break. :p We don't get anything again until Spring Break. We have a full two week from 12/21 to 1/4 (12/18 is a half day).

Last day is Friday December 18 and we return Tuesday January 5. No break in February and Spring Break is in March :)

1/2 day on the 23rd then off until Jan 4 here, week at winter break and spring break and 4 day weekend at Easter. Can you tell I'm looking forward to all of them? :up:

2 hour early dismissal on 12/23. No school 24th-1/3. Back at work 1/4.

I am so excited. I haven't had a Christmas free of work (either the eve before or the day of) since nursing school!!

Last day is December 18th (early dismissal) and return date is January 11th! Can not wait!

Wow I must be pretty lucky! I get over a month off.

-Last day December 16th

-spring semester starts January 19th

The only long break we have after Christmas is Easter. But then we are out 5/13. So can't complain I guess.

We don't get religious holidays (not even allowed to decorate for holidays in my district), or things like MLK day or President's Day... get a full week in April, but we are out 5/25.
