    VA PACT RN

Hi! I love it!! I’ve been there for about 8 months now and it’s going great. I can truly see myself staying in this position until I retire. We do a lot of phone triage and “walk-in” triage (like urgent care) and manage our panel within our PACT team. It’s a great job! Congrats 😊

    VA PACT RN

Hi everyone, I am starting a new position as an RN at the VA in PACT (primary care) in September. I was wondering if there are any PACT RNs out there and if you could give me some insight on what to expect and what your day to day routine is like? Any information is valuable. Thank you in advance!

    Resignation tips !

I have only been at my current position for 4 months (2nd nursing job) and I absolutely hate it (bedside nursing). I have accepted a position in case management as I feel that this career would make me much happier. I feel terrible for resigning so soon, but it is not fair to me or the patients I take care of to stay in a position where I am miserable & depressed. Any advice?? Thanks in advance.
  6. Hello, I have been a bedside nurse on a medical surgical unit for a year now. However I HATE bedside nursing & the abuse we have to take. I love helping people, but bedside is taking my love for nursing away. I have just accepted a case management position & I couldn't be anymore excited for this next step in my career! I can't wait to be able to help people still, and no weekends or holidays! :) Any advice on this new & exciting career??

    How to study for PN-nclex?

I've only taken NCLEX RN, but UWORLD was a great study source! I know they have a Q-bank available for PN too. The rationales are awesome.

Is Nccc 2 year associate degree possible in 2 years

Hello, I just graduated from NCCC this past May and found a job the day after pinning so yes it is a great program, but tough! I did it in 3 years so I could take just nursing classes alone. I will tell you that first semester is the easiest and people that attempt to do it in 2 years typically pass first semester and fail out in second. I'm not saying that she cannot do it because I did graduate with someone that was able to, but you also want to take into account GPA. By doing it in 3 years I was able to graduate with a 3.9, just saying. If she is struggling this semester and barely passing, I would withdraw, finish my co-reqs and join again in nursing 2. It would suck to have to repeat a semester. Everyone is different though, best of luck to your daughter!

    NCLEX shut off at 75.

Hello, I just took the nclex at 8 this morning..shut off at 75 questions. My last two questions were SATA and I did the Pearson vue trick twice and got the "good pop up" however I'm not feeling confident at all, felt like the whole exam was a guessing game! Just needed to vent & wanted to know if others felt this way! I used Kaplan and uworld.

    Should I leave this soon??!

I would never throw it away for an interview, I wouldn't take any action unless an offer was made, thank you all, I appreciate it! Just don't want to look bad if it comes down to that

    Should I leave this soon??!

Just an interview so far, I would say anything to anyone unless I got a job offer. I know someone that is friends with the manager & put a good word in for me. I'm pretty stuck on what to do
