Wow. We started 8/11/15 and don't get out until 5/25/16. We don't get much off during the year either.

I'm sure each state has a different requirement for the number of school days. I am contracted for 175 days, with 7 being staff inservices.

Long ago, Wed was negotiated off by the teachers union and I benefit from that!. I am salaried so I get paid.

Yeah, we have 180 with no staff inservices. I am contracted 185.

Off Wed-Fri, Monday and Tuesday are "half days" but the school does parent-teacher conferences those days. I'm not sure what my time requirements will be though.

I get early dismissal on Wednesday and then I get that Thursday and Friday off. Its not a paid holiday
