Happy hump day everyone! I thought a fun midweek topic would be to share how many pre-reqs you have left to complete.
I'm completing my AAS and nursing pre-reqs simultaneously (it's basically a requirement to have a previous degree to get into the program at my school.) This quarter I'm taking Into to Chemistry and Intercultural Communication. I have 1 more AAS class (Intercultural Issues,) then Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology 1 and 2. I also plan to retake Lifespan Psychology (I got a B+ )
Taking A&P 1 now, taking A&P 2 and micro next semester but can apply while taking them. Plus other basic Psych & English. Thinking of taking sociology over the summer to get it out of the way
Taking a & p 2 right now and dk microbiology next semester! After that I will start on things that will go towards my bachelors while I'm on the waitlist for nursing school.
blah ive been going to school for 3 years now!!! 9-10 creds a semester, man they ask a lot at my college for the adn program. i still have a&p, micro , and statistics!!!! rules are you cant take A&p together in a semester and my school just added statistics on the prereq list and eliminated some of the courses required that i already took ;( atleast the statistics will help me get transfer credit for cal state so much but not giving up

Taking AP 1 now. I still have AP2, Microbiology, College Algebra, Stats and Chemistry to take. I may have to take a second chem class, as one program I am looking at wants organic in addition to regular chem. I will *fingers crossed* be able to test out of the college algebra, as I am doing a lot of study on my own outside of school. Either way the end is in sight!
I only have 4 left after this quarter! I'm taking Anatomy and Critical Thinking right now, then next quarter I will be taking Comm (Public Speaking) and Micro, then in the spring I will take Physio and English. I can apply to the program while I'm taking them though, so I'm hoping to be accepted for Fall 2015 entry.
This fall I'm taking a&p 1 and lifespan psychology right now, winter quarter will be a&p 2 and sociology, spring will be microbiology and studying for the TEAS.
Applications are due April 15th at my school, but you have until June 30th to turn in spring classes/TEAS scores :) Super excited for Fall 2015!

None!!! I finished last semester fall 2014. I did a few in the late 90's. In 2010 I started the rest. I completed chemistry, A&P 1&2, micro, psych, nutrition, adv comp English, regular English 1A, med term between 2010 and 2014.
Now it's time for the waiting game to apply for RN program!!!!!
I am taking AP 1 this semester...taking ap2 and psy 210 next semester. I have two previous degrees, so I can apply in May to nursing. Plan on taking micro over the summer and start nursing school in the fall...by then will have completed all non-nursing classes!
