How many pre-reqs do you have to go?

Published

Happy hump day everyone! I thought a fun midweek topic would be to share how many pre-reqs you have left to complete.

I'm completing my AAS and nursing pre-reqs simultaneously (it's basically a requirement to have a previous degree to get into the program at my school.) This quarter I'm taking Into to Chemistry and Intercultural Communication. I have 1 more AAS class (Intercultural Issues,) then Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology 1 and 2. I also plan to retake Lifespan Psychology (I got a B+)

How about you?

A & P I, A&P II, Microbiology, Psychology 214, and I have to retake Psy 101 so I get an A.

Has anyone taken the HESI? If so what did you use to study for it?

I have a BA in History, I am currently taking Lifespan Psychology and A&P 1. Next semester it will be A&P 2 and Chemistry 1, that leaves Chemistry 2 and Microbiology for fall 2015. I plan to apply December 2015.

There are lots and lots and lots of study suggestions, books, websites, etc in the Hesi forum. :)

Are you for real?!!! Wow, you make me feel like a slacker for taking on stats! Best of luck.

Gotta stay motivated and get it done. Got the opportunity to fish my Pre-Reqs in one year instead of two so not taking this overload would mean staying pre nursing for another year for one class. I really appreciate it. Stay focused and get on out of there!

Im going to need it :)

I'm interested in enrolling in an accelerated nursing program in the next months so the only pre-reps I have left is an elementary course on organic chemistry and biochemistry

I have Micro and stats in the spring - plus all the other Bachelors degree mumbo-jumbo to take. So once I apply for fall 2015 admission (and hopefully acceptance!) I will only have to worry about nursing classes!
