  1. Since biology is a very crucial class that is fundamental to future concepts I would recommend taking it in person. However, if you are thru type of student who can succeed and learn very well outside of the classroom then I believe you would do just fine.
  2. I would recommend taking a semester part time around 6 to 9 hours to see how it feels and how you handle it. If all goes well you could go to full time the next semester with a significant amount of confidence. Best of luck!
  3. I took the accelerated version and it was fairly difficult because of the sheer amount of work in such a short time span. My anatomy course was a&p 1 and 2 over 8 weeks. It was doable but it was very time consuming.
  4. I think it really depends what you're looking for. Community college classes are historically smaller, less expensive, and slightly easier. Where as university classes have a larger class size, more expensive, but usually are regarded as being more difficult. I think whichever option you choose will work well as long as you apply yourself.
  5. It is pretty common for students to take biology and chemistry together. I did and I didn't think it was too bad at all. If you feel confident that chemistry wont be as challenging as it is for other students than I would recommend taking the two classes together. Best of luck!
  6. I would personally recommend the MacBook air. It is very portable for college students and doesn't feel heavy at all it is aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. The MacBooks are also very reliable so its one less worry that you will have during school.
  7. In my opinion, almost any career that you get involved in that you are passionate about will most likely involve some aspect of stress and take up a lot of your time. If its something that you truly love then it will be worth any hardship that you initially have.
  8. I have always been a fan of utilizing the khan academy videos. I know that they have recently added a section for nursing students so that may help you. Khan Academy Hope that helps.
  9. I am a big fan of the MacBook airs. They are very portable for students and are very efficient for productivity.
  10. When I took a&p I didn't think it was too difficult. I took it during summer semester over the course of a month so it was accelerated and I was working. I think the hardest part was memorizing all of the names for the lab practical. The class is definitely doable though!
  11. Congratulations! Its always good to be proud of your accomplishments to keep you striving for the best.
  12. Born and raised in Ohio over here. Looking at starting an accelerated nursing program soon.
  13. I would personally recommend taking micro in the summer because I think chemistry is much easier to learn. I am an outcast on this topic however because I initially graduated with a BS in chemistry before looking into nursing. Either way, you got this!
  14. Thank you so much for your post! It's always refreshing to review how to succeed. Does anyone here regularly make flashcards using study blue or anki? How well does it work for you?
  15. I'm interested in enrolling in an accelerated nursing program in the next months so the only pre-reps I have left is an elementary course on organic chemistry and biochemistry
