When I went in store to look at them I looked at both. I have used smaller laptops in the past (non apple) and I find them really hard to use but that's just me. I think the extra 2 inches would make a difference and I'm not sure about the price difference wherever you are from but I think the little bit extra would be worth it. Unless you want something which is ultra small and portable which it will be. I am still waiting for my air to come in and when I lifted both up in a store I didn't notice that much of a weight difference. Maybe go into store and ask questions and have a feel of them and you will soon know what feels right for you! Happy shopping.

Thank you! I do have a medication maths book which this has just reminded me I have. :-) Yes we use APA in Australia as well, I always use the computer to do the referencing itself by entering the details into Microsoft word!

I don't really plan on using it for much other then documents and notes like you said and to do class work, but I always have the option of USB sticks. Cost isn't an issue I'm just curious about what other people think and their experiences. Pros don't have a cd slot anymore do they?

Hey thanks so much Danielle! That is very good to know, I am leaning towards the MacBook Air though due to it being lighter and longer battery life. What is the battery like on your MacBook Pro? Does your dad ever talk much about the air or know much about them?

It won't allow me to as I don't have enough points or something along the lines of that. But anyway I just wanted to know did you have to buy any additional program's for nursing school and are the apple versions of Microsoft you mentioned before are they compatible with windows programs?
