How far out is NCLEX-RN scheduling? May 2020 COVID

Seriously. It takes so long even though everything is electronic. And they always have excuses for it.

Hey if you dont mind me asking, where did you graduate from, upstate NY or Long Island ? I am asking because I am on Long Island and just graduated yesterday. I am trying to gauge how far out testing is. That is amazing you got it so quickly ! I am hoping to get it soon ? Yes we are required to wear masks at the testing center, Island NY.

I went to school in CA but my new grad job is in TN. New grads in Southern California make like $35-$40/hr. But it’s relative to cost of living.

It depends on which state you are living in.

I am from NY. My April test was cancelled.

I was able to get an appointment in May.

They cancelled all of April.

Someone I know from NYC received their ATT yesterday and they said the earliest date they could find is in October.

When you scheduled your exam, did you see a lot of dates available?

Sheesh! I am still waiting on my ATT. I probably will not be able to test until January at the rate my school is going.

I saw plenty of dates available. There were many RNs and PNs there to test.

Likewise. I graduated only yesterday and some of my professors haven't submitted their grades yet. I'll be lucky to receive my ATT before July. Good news is that NYC seems to be slowly opening up. There should be more test dates available soon. You gotta check everyday.

Supposedly she looked at several testing sites around the country. However, I remember someone posting a few days ago that the earliest testing date they could find in NYC was in Brooklyn in either September or November. Some testing dates do open up at random times which is why we have to check constantly.

Got my ATT 5/27

tested on 6/5 they had openings right away but only on Friday’s for my area.

I wanted to take it on 5/28 but I opted to finish UWorld.

How was it? I’m taking mine very soon and I am very nervous! Did you feel that UWorld prepared you? A lot of my classmates have said that it was similar to Kaplan. Did you try the Pearson Vue trick?
