How far out is NCLEX-RN scheduling? May 2020 COVID

Published

Anyone who has recently taken, or scheduled to take the NCLEX-RN, how far out was your test date you were able to get? What was the soonest available? What area of the country are you in? I’m cutting it close with my program start date and wondering when I get my ATT how soon I can schedule. Thanks!

It wasn’t bad at all.

I finished all the questions on UWorld and I studied the rationales.

I took the assessment and got a a very high chance of passing.
I definitely feel like it helped me a lot.
UWorld is a lot harder than NCLEX so I felt overprepared, when I got a SATA I was like boom! UWorld helped with that LOL

I did not do the Kaplan review but I also heard that Kaplan and NCLEX are very similar from a friend who graduated from APU.

Ohhh I did the Hurst review too.
I love their videos it’s so informative like I wish I knew about Hurst during the program rather than finding out about it towards the end of it.

My heart sank bc it shut off @ 60 and I did do the PVT and got the good pop-up sooooo I really hope the Pearson trick still works.
It was spot on for my LVN.

I’ve read about false PVT’s so I’m kinda still shtttnnnn my pants LOL

Good luck!! You got this.

always go with your first choice, remeber maslows and ABC’s when you get priority questions

Thank you for the advice! Congratulations if the trick is accurate! Good luck on your new journey as an RN! My university used Kaplan and I am also using UWorld so hopefully that is enough to pass! I’m going to try and finish the entire question bank before my date. I plan on taking the UWorld self assessment sometime within the next week! I took the Kaplan readiness test that is suggested 2 weeks prior to your test date and got with the target range so hopefully I’m in right direction!
