The main reason for asking is because I am horrible at taking the time to clean mine for work! I have found that too much can get splashed on my shoes and I am afraid of transferring the germs to my pts, my family, or me. I know the crocs are easy to clean, but since I wear leather and/or tennis shoes at work, I need to know a good way to keep them clean. I have tried bleach spray/wipes at work, and throwing them in the washer, but is there a better way?
Any suggestions are helpful.

I wear leather sneakers, and wash them by hand over the sink with an old toothbrush dipped in detergent and disinfectant. They get washed on a semi-regular basis. They would fall apart if they were washed after every shift. A quick touchup with an alcohol swab will remove some stains if something gets on the shoes at work.

I use a disinfecting wipe on them before I step foot in the house. Also, if I get something on them I have a magic eraser that I use just for them.

we have the individually wrapped cavicide wipes at work. i just stick an extra in my pocket to wipe my shoes before i get home. i don't know if lysol wipes kill the kind of crap you pick up in the hospital?

I use the tora wipes that housekeeping uses to clean beds, tables, etc. I drop one in a bag along with a pair of gloves and wipe my crocs down before going in the house.
To those that throw them in the washer: does the bleach yellow your crocs? I fear that after I threw a pair of sneakers in some bleach and they turned yellow.

I agree with the Magic Eraser. It gets most anything off and doesn't damage the shoe. And it works on most types of shoes.
For those of you who just wipe your shoes down with those sani-wipes, do you wear clogs/leather type shoes? I also wear tennis shoes with shoe strings at work so i was wondering if those wipes would be as effective.
