The main reason for asking is because I am horrible at taking the time to clean mine for work! I have found that too much can get splashed on my shoes and I am afraid of transferring the germs to my pts, my family, or me. I know the crocs are easy to clean, but since I wear leather and/or tennis shoes at work, I need to know a good way to keep them clean. I have tried bleach spray/wipes at work, and throwing them in the washer, but is there a better way?
Any suggestions are helpful.
I NEVER wear my work shoes home; I clean them at work with alcohol.
im the same way, i leave my work shoes at work. who knows all the junk that gets on them in a 12hr shift?!? (lol, actually i DO know, thats why i dont take them home) i even wipe them down with saniwipes, but i still get paranoid...

I use the Sani-wipes. They're supposed to kill anything...MRSA, VRE, HIV, HepB, HepC, etc. I try to do this once a shift considering that the housekeepers where I work rarely ever sweep or mop the floors in my unit! It's DISGUSTING!!
