Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

Does anyone know when we will hear back from Harris Health or St Luke’s? I did the packet thing for Harris and I did the short answer survey for St Luke’s. They seem to be my only hope left since I haven’t heard from Houston Methodist or Memorial Hermann after completing their assessments.

I had my interview for Harris health last week

St Luke said virtual interviews will be prepped the week of March 29. The event will be held on April 16. Harris Health I feel is nearing the end of interview selection. Someone said the 19th was final day. I am unsure. Stay hopeful. I heard back from Memorial a day before the closing date.

I have a friend who applied to that same location and position and didn’t receive a email. Do you mind sharing your GPA and date you applied? Just confused on how their making their selections. Thank you!

No it just said 

“All candidates are currently being reviewed. 

Communication with additional details will be sent by the individual Hospitals starting March 1st, 2021.”

so I don’t think they are done interviewing

I didn't get this email either but this would be a huge relief. Was that email talking about TMC too? @ARivers . I emailed them this morning asking for like an updated timeline so I'll let y'all know if I hear anything back
