Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

I received a called from TCH earlier today. Do you guys think they are calling everyone that applied?

Yup.  Pretty sure they forgot to add unit and location preference to the applications ??

I doubt it. Most of my class put in applications and only 2 of us got called for interviews. It would be impossible to reach out to everyone individually.

So you got called for a interview or for your unit preference?

I apologize, the original comment says TCH. I thought it was for MH. I'm not sure about anyone in my class applying for TCH.

Has anyone heard back from MH Katy or Sugarland? And was the last day for these places truly the 19th? I just want to know at this point for closure LOL

Hey. My first choice was Memorial Herman The Medical Center and second was Katy. I got an interview request the 18th. It’s possible. People kept saying the 19th was the last day. Have you applied other places?

Congratulations on the interview! Was it for Katy? and yea I think the last day truly did pass.
