sometimes my hormones got off the board too much. I can't resist the thought of having a baby and nurse him/her. Man, I'm in nursing school right now. I can't. I only have a few months left to finish with school and find a job and have a baby!
I don't want to hurt anyones feelings or cause any drama...but is anyone else just slightly concerned that this person is going to be in charge of peoples lives?
Nah. Well, I am only concerned about one of her personalities' ability to maintain patient safety.

Really? I just don't understand how you can come to that conclusion. But whatever floats your boat!
OP, I personally don't understand this strong desire to have a baby. I'm 24, will be 25 here soon, won't graduate till I'm 27 and don't plan on having kids until I'm 30. I have a strong to desire to build a strong foundation before bringing another life into this world.
I do understand your fear of the actual birthing process, but my fear comes from the fact that I am automatically high risk due to having a rare bleeding disorder. I have a larger chances of bleeding to death when I give birth. I also feel somewhat guilty that there is a very good chance my child will have my bleeding disorder, and possibly a stronger level of it.
Anyways, get out of school and get some experience. Build a strong foundation for you and your baby to live on before having the baby.
Oh I forgot one other thing-if you are just looking to fertilize something for 4 days a week my son got sea monkeys for a birthday present and we fertilized them for a fewe days and watched them grow up...maybe this could be just as satisfying... sorry bad joke..but some of the comments are pretty goofy...stuff about fertilizing and peds and giving birth btw the scary and hard part comes after delivery
I fail to see how that article supports the idea that your eggs are drying up. 4 periods for a year isn't normal so regardless.....go see a doctor.Haleyanna19....nursing school can be crazy but I've yet to read a case where it caused a young woman to go into menopause
yea, you can do a case study on me. and, publish it in a nursing journalThe article says that when you are running out of eggs, all you want is do it and have the baby. I hope it helps.
Remember to credit me when you publish your paper
I love seeing all these bouncing faces!:lol2:

Be nice, I don't know if you're in school or not, but nursing school does crazy things to you. The last thing the poor girl needs is people making fun of her and calling her "weird" and making rude comments about what she writes. She's just venting about how she feels, let her vent. :) Practice some of that "therapeutic communication" that comes w/nursing. A biiiig part of therapeutic communication is being non-judgmental. :) Just a thought!
I most definitely did not call the OP weird. I called the whole situation including the previous post referenced and related to this one (and being at opposite ends of desires) weird. Because from where I stand, it is.

"The rest of the week I'll fertilize a baby."
I keep coming back to this thread just to read this line - for some reason it makes me think of Cabbage Patch Kids and it just puts a smile on my face. :hrnsmlys:
