can't help my emotional feelings

Published

sometimes my hormones got off the board too much. I can't resist the thought of having a baby and nurse him/her. Man, I'm in nursing school right now. I can't. I only have a few months left to finish with school and find a job and have a baby!

Get finished with school, get established in a good healthcare setting, and then think about kids. If it is God's will for you it will be done, but please do not rush. If you have a baby now I am sorry you will have to bye bye to nursing school. I don't see how anyone can give birth, breastfeed, go to sleep, wake up again in 3 hours, breastfeed, go to sleep, wake up again in 2 hours, change diaper, go back to sleep....then get up for school after breasts are pumped for the day and disgruntled family member or babysitter is there to watch the very new and fresh baby........oh no, that would never work. Finish and finish on time. Then do a baby.

I was thinking about adopting a monkey.

you are right. I need to focus on school now. Once I can find a job. I'll work 3 days a week. The rest of the week I'll fertilize a baby. Thx so much, everybody. I don't even have a bf now. Strange. It all started with the strong desire to have a bf nwo. Then, now after a light hug from a male friend, all I want is to have a baby. I hate Ped. Ped makes me want to have babies!!!! I'll finish school with good grades and good performance. I'll let you guys know. Thx so much.

I think what you are feeling is normal ambivalence about life choices and musing about it here - nothing wrong with that! I'm sure hormones do play a part in it as well! If you're worried about fertility now I suppose you could could get it checked out. . .

I had to laugh because I am the biggest worrywort in the world, to the point (I am not making this up) I was reading an article about secondary infertility in the waiting room of the OB while like 8 months along with my first child! I freaked out when I was 26 about never having kids - uh huh I learned to keep most thoughts like that to myself.

As long as you can recognize the difference between little girl fantasies and the realities of the adult world and don't bring another being into the world unless he or she will have the best chance of success, daydreaming isn't necessarily harmful.

umm...yeah, nevermind.

Be nice, I don't know if you're in school or not, but nursing school does crazy things to you. The last thing the poor girl needs is people making fun of her and calling her "weird" and making rude comments about what she writes. She's just venting about how she feels, let her vent. :) Practice some of that "therapeutic communication" that comes w/nursing. A biiiig part of therapeutic communication is being non-judgmental. :) Just a thought!

I fail to see how that article supports the idea that your eggs are drying up. 4 periods for a year isn't normal so regardless.....go see a doctor.

Haleyanna19....nursing school can be crazy but I've yet to read a case where it caused a young woman to go into menopause :lol2:

yea, you can do a case study on me. and, publish it in a nursing journal :lol2:

The article says that when you are running out of eggs, all you want is do it and have the baby. I hope it helps. :lol2:

Remember to credit me when you publish your paper :lol2:

Also, thinking of all the immunizations and Ped assessment and OB/GYN assessment that I have to go through. Gee. Crazy. Ok, I stop!

You make me smile :)

I love seeing all these bouncing faces! :lol2::lol2::lol2::lol2::lol2:

Thank you, I know if you're as stressed as I am, the last thing you need is immature people poking fun at you for how you feel. Ignore these people, if they are going to make fun of someone for stating how they feel, imagine how they will treat their patients in the hospital....just a thought :) :nurse:
