Just curious...

What's the hardest class you have had so far?

Composition II and Oral Communications.

I am in Fundamentals of Nursing right now and it's pretty intense. I am also in Health Assessment and Pharmacology, and since I started August 23rd, I have studied my fundamentals every day since then, and havent even had time to study for anything other than fundamentals. I enjoy it though, but, like I said..it's a tough class.

Specializes in Emergency Dept. Trauma. Pediatrics.

This is hard to say because everyone is so different. I would say med/surge is the class I struggled in the most, but it wasn't because it was "hard" it was my own fault. I have advanced med/surge 1 and 2 to take over the next 2 semesters so we will see how that goes.

Specializes in Home Care.

pharmacology because there's so much to memorize

statistics because...well...need I say more?

Nursing Research... I really can't wrap my head around statistics...

Specializes in Critical Care, Clinical Documentation Specialist.

I am taking Pathophysiology right now as a pre-req. 1750 pages in 15 weeks! Each unit (9 in total) has a research item...my first one has turned into 5 pages, plus a research discussion (only 100 words, thank goodness) and a quiz. There is one 4-5 page research paper as well.

So far it's not the work, but the vast amount of information to absorb. I haven't taken the first quiz yet so we will see how it goes. I'm just very glad I am only taking it with one other class (biochem) and I don't have to take this along with regular nursing classes, I think my brain would leak out my ears if I did!

MED SURG so far....we start psy. soon though:uhoh3:

Specializes in Med/Surg, Academics.

Pharm, although it's not the class I got my worst grade in, ironically.

Specializes in Psych.

Gonna say Med/Surg 1 right now and we're only 2 weeks in. EEK!!!!!!!!

I hear this is really hard! Good luck!
