A Kaiser Hospital in Antioch, CA presented these ROCKS to their nurses for Nurse's Week. I found this on Bonnie Castillo's fb page today.

In all my years of working in healthcare (almost 40), I have never seen anything more insulting and pathetic. I hope Kaiser gets publicly flogged for this.

I’ve heard so many horrible things about Kaiser that even if they were in my area I’d probably never ever work for them.
Literally nothing would have been better than a rock.

One year there was a thread here about the rinkiest, slap-in-the-face Nursing Week gifts from employers.
I think next year this should be one of the contests. Everyone has a year to think up one that could possibly beat The Rock.
I could think of a few "encouraging" phrases to write on the rocks before regifting them to the dear leaders.

Hmmm lucky said rock did not wind up in a windshield somehow. Just sayin'.
I'm thinking a bouquet using Yankauer tips. "Dear Management - you SUCK!"
"The rock" ranks right up there with "the bucket'!

At least you can throw up in the bucket. Maybe the rock could be used as a pesary. Just trying to be practical.
