I cried tears of relief after I got it and wish I could have hugged the kind woman who vaccinated me ? She got tearful when she realized I was crying.  I feel like I can finally exhale a bit.  FWIW I am about 36 hours out and have had no side effects other than a mildly sore arm.  I got the Moderna.  Our Health Department was able to add the nurses to the first responders because we all do front facing care and weekly covid testing in our schools.

I got mine Sunday.  We have a "mega site" in my county and I also stayed to help out with post vaccine observation through medical reserve corps.  I had a sore arm for a day or so and I felt tired the next day, but nothing else.  I received the Moderna vax.

I got my first dose of Pfizer Saturday & have been having alarmingly frequent PACs.  Doc's feeling is that it's because my sympathetic nervous system is in high gear producing antibodies.  I'll probably be wearing a Holter over the weekend.

I got my first Moderna vaccine last week at a clinic I worked. Our health dept. is holding Covid vaccine clinics weekly, scheduling them as soon as they get the vaccine in. Right now, health care workers and long term care facilities are being immunized. Yes, I'm glad I got mine also!

Wow Saltine Queen, didn't read your post until after I submitted mine. I'm sorry about the PAC's! Sounds very uncomfortable and anxiety producing!

I am assuming no history of this for you, yes? Please also consider reporting it to the vaccine system they have set up (it's not the traditional VAERS). We are all essentially phase 4 trialling both vaccines. Hang in there.

I've had one or two here & there over the last few years...but nowhere near as frequent as the last few days.  I also have HTN, need to lose weight, and am stubborn & a terrible nurse-patient.  ??  I did register with VSafe.

I got mine 3 weeks ago (Moderna.) I had alot of arm soreness and initially thought it was just a Side effect. However I am 3 weeks in and still alot of upper arm pain and shoulder pain. My injection was given quite high on my arm and now I am questioning whether my complaints are related to improper injection site/technique. I have done some research on it and it is alot more common than you think. Anyone else have experience with this?

I haven't, but has a staff member this year experiencing the same thing after a flu clinic we had on site. I didn't administer because I can't with the outside vendor I contract this. Me and their doc suspect improper injection site/technique here, being referred to PT to help.

I had my first vaccine (Moderna) a week and one day ago.  My arm was VERY sore the afternoon of the vaccination and even worse the day after.  I've had soreness with the flu shots and other vaccinations,  but not like this!  Luckily, though, by the fourth day it was much better and I've felt fine ever since.  I've heard the second dose can be worse, so I'm crossing my fingers!  I am definitely glad I took the vaccine, though!

Yay! I’m I’m Ohio and was able to get mine today. I feel a sense of relief and hope. I already have an appointment for the 2nd vaccine.
The rest of the staff will be getting theirs the first week of February. There were so many to sign up the health dept asked us to help out with it. ☺️
