Our contract gives us double time on the 25th.
A Scrooge named ****** ******cancelled the Staff Christmas meals on Christmas and New Years Day. We can't even order a patient tray and we don't even know if the minimal coffee shop services will be available.
Yes, Alberta Health Services, I'm talking about you.

Many years ago, when I worked for a private practice while taking my prereqs, my boss, the doc, had us all picked up by limo and driven downtown (Chicago) where he lived, to a swank steak house to have drinks and dinner. Then when it was time to go home the limo was ordered to take a scenic "see the Christmas lights" route home. That was really nice.
Crap, never shoulda left that job.

Stone coasters she made herself. And from the hospital there is supposed to be a way to get a turkey certificate. I haven't seen it on the website yet.

I got a nice calendar and lunch. There are 4 of us in our position. I don't know what the rest of the staff got.

Eeep! Totally been lurking on this page. That 10 dollar giftcard deducted from paycheck would have annoyed me to bits. IMO, better nothing at all. Is that even legal?
