Last year - $25 gift card to local grocery store.
This year - $20 check.
What did you get?
Nothing so far... our private duty agency nurses are supposed to find their gift at one of their clients' houses, a logo'ed insulated lunchbag and a scarf. However I've been to all my clients this week and nobody was holding mine. I suppose I'm going to have to call my office after the holiday and tell them they forgot me.

Why in the world would they leave your gift at a client's house? LOL
Probably someone in the client's family now has a new lunchbag and scarf.
A $10 gift card to Target- which on closer inspection was deducted from our paycheck. Well heck, if that's how they're going to do it, lets be realistic then, I hardly ever spend less that $40.00 of my own hard earned money at Target Boutique!
I wonder if this is even legal?? Technically they didn't withhold anything (you got the value of your pay) but having them decide that ten dollars of your pay MUST be spent at Target reeks of illegal. And hey, maybe even accuse them of a kickback!!
I'd be SO ******.....heck, I'm ******* NOW, and it's not even ME who got screwed!

I get to work Christmas and Christmas Eve, 12 hours each day, even though the holiday commitment is only 8 hours on the day of, because they manage the schedule poorly at this job.
