what color uniforms does your school use?

Most scrub uniforms usually have white pants (why???) from what I've heard so far

Our uniforms are "cranberry" (maroon) tops with white pants & white shoes. The shirts have snaps up the front and they are men's sizes. I have no idea why they thought that was a good idea. In order for the snaps not to gape at my chest (I'm cursed with a big bosom) I have to wear a men's XL which otherwise fits me like a tent. I hate white pants, I'm constantly worried about getting them dirty. I guess they want us to stand out from the staff and no one in their right mind would wear maroon tops with white pants if they had a choice :p

The school I'm applying for has navy tops/bottoms. 2 other schools I'm considering if I don't get in, one has beige bottoms/white tops and the other has navy bottoms/yellow tops.

I don't have to wear a uniform...the joys of a RN-BSN program :)

Seriously, for ADN school, the clinical uniform were to be white with teal trim. I heard they underwent a style update so they look better, but AFAIK they're still white and teal.

Our uniforms are alll white. White tops/bottoms/shoes. Personally, I'm not a fan but it is what it is. I just try really hard to not spill coffee on myself before clinical in the morning. :coollook:

mine- we look like smurfs.Smurfette_Nurse.jpg white bottoms (pants or skirt w/ white hoseiry) and royal blue top with our logo, white sneakers

NYU-purple top and bottom, white hosiery if its a skirt and white sneakers

UMDNJ-SN-white bottoms, mustard yellow or maroon polo shirt w/ logo, (from what i hear, lab coat optional)

Touro school of nursing-navy top, white bottoms

Mine were navy, but our tops were these hideous-looking polo shirts with our school's patch on the shoulder. We had a white polo, too, that we were supposed to wear for our public health rotation but by the time I go to that rotation it didn't even matter. At least we were allowed to wear a navy scrub jacket over the polo. Ugh.

My school had navy pants and canary yellow scrub tops. After being in a non-nursing program before, and enduring the "joys" of all-white uniforms, I LOVED our uniform. I could wear ANY underwear and a good variety of bras without feeling "exposed".

My program we could wear any style of scrubs, but they had to be navy, with the schools logo patch on the right shoulder. The one thing they were really strict on was the white shoes, had to be pure white no stripes markings ect.

Ours are cookie monster blue.... gag. We have the option of wearing white pants but nobody does.
