I've always been attracted to people's behavior and attempted to understand why they behave as they do. I have a theory here:
A definition of melting pot is "a place where different peoples, styles, theories, etc. are mixed together" and that's why I believe General Nursing is a popular forum. It's a potpourri of nurses, spanning the entire spectrum of nurses and nursing.
What do you think?
Why do you come to the General Nursing forum?

I see DaveyDo put me next to covid...that's how I got it! The ISDH and I have wracked our collective brains trying to figure it out ?
Through all contact tracing, we've never been able to figure it out. Now I know ?
I came to AN originally in 2003, while having a slow night in an ICU down in TN. My work partner was on, in a heated debate and I got caught up in it and signed up. I took a brief hiatus from 2005-2006 as I was in a troubled relationship, working crazy hours, and homeschooling my kids. I had no time. I came back in 2006 under a different name because I couldn't remember my prior name or password. I've had a few name changes since I've come back.
I enjoy learning different perspectives and personalities, and reading about different specialties and the challenges that they bring. My go to's are Nurse Beth, I look for new stuff under the dialysis specialty, I go to unread, the peruse the general nursing.
