I've always been attracted to people's behavior and attempted to understand why they behave as they do. I have a theory here:
A definition of melting pot is "a place where different peoples, styles, theories, etc. are mixed together" and that's why I believe General Nursing is a popular forum. It's a potpourri of nurses, spanning the entire spectrum of nurses and nursing.

Perhaps that is why I never posted Brian's character- I didn't want him to be remembered with sadness. But I'm sure another reason is that I didn't want to be interpreted as being disrespectful.
When I do someone's caricature, I'm honoring them in a way- they are interesting enough to me to inspire me spend time creating an image.
When I think of Brian, I think of him with great fondness and gratitude for starting this website. I wanted to include his character in the melting pot because he is a big part of allnurses and he is not forgotten.
And I think of the one conversation we had back in 2011. He was very kind and helpful.

Yes her sweetness does come through. They always have good timing for those pics don't they, but then again even with good timing mine always look like the DMV pics, ugh.
