This is me right now.

And while I'm on the subject of total avoidance, does anyone know if Thundershirts really work? My dog is completely neurotic. We've been having rain for like 3 weeks straight here in Denver, and now he won't even go outside. He's been peeing/pooping in the garage. At this moment, he's trying to climb into my lap, quivering like a leaf.

In the past two hours, I've researched contract law, Thundershirts, dremels, and summery vodka drinks. All in the interest of complete avoidance. It's worked, too! I haven't even opened my paper yet and I'm ostensibly supposed to be "writing" or at least that's what I told my husband.

Oh, and I wrapped my dog in an Ace bandage, but it didn't work.

My friend has a cat that practically lives in one. However, said cat is now also on kitty Xanax. But it did work for a year or two.

A thunder shirt worked wonders for my in-laws dog, especially on 4th of July.

I've used one but eventually had to drug up the dog...it was me or him lol

We got one for our cat when his brother died and he was having anxiety issues being the only cat in the house. It really did work, although we only needed it for about 6 months until we got a new cat to join the family. It was sort of funny watching him right after we put it on, he don't know what to do with himself or how to move around. Then within a few minutes he was really calm, we would leave it on for an hour or two, and the calm would last for about another day.

You had me at summery vodka drinks.

klone!!! LOL!

I am laughing so hard right now thinking of you sitting down to crank out that paper...but you just keep posting!

My thing is usually "Okay, I'm going to do this paper RIGHT NOW, here I goooo....hey, those blinds are *really* dusty, maybe I should wipe them down for 4 hours, THEN I'll do the paper..."

I actually cleaned out the refrigerator this morning rather than work on a paper.

I got ya beat, I cleaned litterboxes. :p I am waiting for a paper to sail back to me from taskstream (I am positive it will but not sure why just yet) so what to do? Work on powerpoint or clean litterboxes.. tough choice.
