If you won a billion dollars today, how many hours per week would you work as a nurse?

I would not work as a nurse. In my opinion, if anyone found out you had that much money it would leave you wide open for frivolous lawsuits. That is not to say that frivolous lawsuits can't happen to anyone, but it seems to me being a millionaire or a billionaire would make it worse.

A billion dollars? I would never return to work.

I would, but only on a part time basis, just to keep busy.

I agree. I would do something with my time, but not work as a nurse.

a million dollars and I show up for a shift.....:rotfl:

very funny

if you had asked me last year, i would have definitely continued in nsg.

these days, however....i'm thinking i'm ready to hang it up.

but i would love to buy lots of land:

have a school built, servicing truly impoverished children/teens/adults.

providing education & skills/vocation.

then on another part of my acres and acres of land, a conservation/sanctuary for displaced, injured animals.

and with my leftover millions, research.

yeah, i'd quit nsg.

Me? I'd call in rich!

Seriously, if I won any significant sum of money I'd be too worried about lawsuits and being seen as "deep pockets" to continue working as a nurse.
