How much would you have to win to quit working as a nurse? How much would it take?

If you won a billion dollars today, how many hours per week would you work as a nurse?

I would work one day a week (absolutely no weekends, Fridays, or holidays) just to keep my skills current and keep my insurance. Then I would either volunteer full time at an animal shelter or I would open my own no-kill shelter for all kinds of animals and be the happiest person alive. I would also give some to Catholic Charities because they helped me out when I was going through a very low point in life. One of my first investments would also be a pool because I have wanted one since I was a little girl.:D

I would work per diem. It would make work more enjoyable knowing that I did not have to do it to make ends meet. Just imagine how good it would feel to not have financial pressure. I think quite a few of us would actually enjoy nursing .

i would always be in the medical field, no matter what. i would love go back to being a paramedic and work on the rescue squad i used to, all volunteer. to have that truck and be on call was awesome. of course volunteer so that i wasnt always REQUIRED to be somewhere all the time.
