in rural nebraska, 60 miles would take you a little over an hour, right? i live 20 miles from work but must drive through inner city, touristy area with baseball stadiums and big hotels . . . it takes me about an hour. it's not fun driving that long to and from work every day, but for a great opportunity, it's worth it.

i live 40 min car to door. i wouldnt work in the hospital we have that is only 3 blocks from where i am now, so that is my next choice, and i love it. like others said, the drive is kinda a relaxation, i got XM for Nurse's Week from my fiancee this yr, so i super enjoy driving now! comedy channels, i laugh off my cares from work and laugh all the way to work for those long days when i dread going in!

It only takes an hour or an hour and 5-10 minutes as the speed limit is 70 and everyone always goes faster lol. After the 2nd day in a row i am beat. Hasn't been a problem except when i worked a nite had to pull over and sleep for a while

I travel 97 miles one way to work. In the beginning it seemed long, but now, not so bad. I have a 70% line, which equals about 2 days a week. I make enough to pay all the monthly bills, which leaves my husbands' checks for the extra things in life. Unfortunately, I work at the U of I Hospitals, where they are talking laying off 200 people. wish me luck.
