Doorbell rings, I'm not list'nin',

From my mouth, drool is glist'nin',

I'm happy -- although

All night long, I sit clicking,

Unaware time is ticking,

There's food on my cheek,

Same clothes for a week,

Friends come by; they shake me, saying, "yo, man!

It's time to find a nursing job for Mom."

With a listless shrug, I mutter "no, man;

I'll be here at allnurses - dot - com!"

I don't phone, don't send faxes,

Don't go out, don't pay taxes,

Who cares if someday

They drag me away?

There are times that I feel that way also but with less than 1000 posts I don't think that I am addicted as badly as some, but I really need to spend more time in here......this is a place that my culture lives LOL.....Nice song though and I will probably have it in the brain for the next few days....Love you all allnurses.com

Love this site and love the members even more. You put a smile on my face when I need it, and tears in my eyes when I least expect it. You also teach me to be a better future nurse, by giving me advice and by learning from you mistakes. Thank you allnurses!

Hello to all you wonderful nurses out there in "nurseland", I have not read posts or posted in a long time so I just want to say 'Hi' and although I see from the little I have read that the SAME problems are out there that have always been there, here it does appear that 'free speach' does prevail and people can actually talk about what is bothering them, maybe it doesn't change anything, but "talk therapy" has been clinically proven to work, hasn't it!
