Do you wear certain scrubs on certain days?

Well, thanks, now I want pizza scrubs.

I usually work 3 days in a row. I wear my least favorite scrub top (navy) on my Monday and my favorite scrub top on my Friday (bright teal!). If I work more than that I get into the funky left-over color combos (green + purple + floral).

I stopped wearing hot pink on psych because I felt like it was too stimulating/feminizing. (I also believe in never saying the Q word, check the calendar for full moons and I knock on wood all night long, because I have become, as Stevie Wonder says, very superstitious).

Thanks for your Wardrobe Schedule, nurseypants. I'm going to commit it to Memory.

I have a pair of brown scrubs I've found useful in a couple of ways regarding food: I spilled coffee on the scrubs on the way to work once and the stain was totally unnoticeable!

Another time, I was eating some Yoplait Whips yogurt and a small amount fell onto my scrubs at the neckline. The yogurt spill went unnoticed until Sissybee and I were providing hygienic measures to a Patient, in a bed, incontinent of stool. Sissybee looked at me from across the bed and asked, "What's that on your scrubs?!" I looked down, saw the small pile of chocolate yogurt on my scrubs, stuck my tongue out, licked it up and replied, " Ew- It's poop!"

We on the SN Forum wear pink on Wednesdays. Because we are soooooo "fetch".

I generally wear all black on Monday, since I'm in mourning that the weekend is over.

I also wear all black on Fridays, because I'm cool.

I wear my Seahawk jersey on Fridays. Go Hawks!

I try to make sure that I've always got one thing covering the top half of me, and then another thing covering the bottom half. I find if I forget either of the things people notice.

I have difficulty telling whether things go together. So, all of my clothes match each other (according to people who know these things). Thus, one thing on the top and another thing on the bottom.

I don't care what they look like; I just wish my facility's laundry would supply scrubs that fit without making me look like I was squeezed into them! Note to laundry: we don't have 75% of the staff wearing extra extra small scrubs. We do, however, have about 75% wearing extra large scrubs. Hows about actually stocking the sizes that get used?

I wear the color that my facility tells me to...we're kinda like kids to them in that way! Most are color coded (Nurses, HCT's, RT's, transport, etc). The Pt's still don't notice the difference or care!

Wednesdays are unofficially "ceil blue and pearls" day on my unit. It's been that way for 20+ years. Nobody remembers who started it, and nobody really questions it.

Anyways I wear whatever whenever. Usually my favourite ones the first few days! One of my jobs we always wear navy blue hospital scrubs so that's easy

You know, Sissybee was the first Nurse I ever knew who wore black scrubs.
