Favorite things you bought during RN school to help your studies?

Mine would be my 2 voice recorders for each of my classes, my medical dictionary, watch, and nursing fundamentals made easy book.

mine would be the following:

- voice recorder -i was able to listen to voice recordings and recall what i missed in class

- lunchbag - save me lots of money from spending money at fast food joints

- multi-color pens - i'm visual and used it for notes

- rolling backpack- i carry lots of books so this saved my back

- my laptop - so helpful.i used it to write papers, type notes, write emails, look up things on Google, YouTube, Facebook, allnurses.com ;) and more!

Hands down my iPad; its lightweight, and I've got most of my books on there as pdf's.....I graduate next month from LPN school and my journey would have been harder without it. :specs:

My favorite things I bought and now my daily bag to school?

-Laptop (Office 2013, Supplemental Book CD)

-Davis Success Series

-Saunders Comprehensive Review

-Sony Voice Recorder

-Smartphone (favorite apps, Micromedex, Pandora, iTriage, Medscape, Facebook)

-Weekly planner(love writing things down)

-1 1/2 in Binder

-MDF Stethoscope (getting a Cardiology iii asap)

-pen light (i have used this on many occasions)

-Binder pencil bag (this is a life savor with all my pens, highlighters, pencils, memory sticks, and other small things)

-Index cards - (I have a whole pack in case for impromptu studyig)

-Headphones - (sometimes you need to tune out everyone)

Chocolate, snickerdoodles, cold milk, and two kittens. And a big stockpot for making soups.

Expresso machine.. (cheap one.. student budget) and a mega pack of index cards and the Sucess book for what ever class I am currently in.. Start with the Test for Sucess. And the Saunders Nclex review.
