Mine would be my 2 voice recorders for each of my classes, my medical dictionary, watch, and nursing fundamentals made easy book.
What was yours?
-my netbook--weighs nothing, i carry it everywhere
-ipod touch-- love it for clinical, has my drug guide and medscape... also use the dropvox app to record lectures and it automatically saves into my dropbox
-with that mentioned, DROPBOX saved me!!! have all my stuff in one neat little place :)
-medsurg reviews and rationales-- use it for careplans
-actually, the whole reviews and rationales has helped a lot... i used it along w/ my textbook and it helps me put things in perspective. it also has a lot of extra info but ive found that that extra info is so helpful to know in clinicals!!! my profs were always impressed and i give kudos to mary ann hogan
-and of course... allnurses.com :)
A massive amount -- literally, thousands -- of large index cards. Highlighters -- I used a whole one every day. Mechanical pencils -- for some reason, a #2 mechanical pen il was so much easier / more pleasurable to write with than a pen when taking notes. And wine. Lots and lots of red wine.
My folding clipboard. These were all the rage last semester -- not just with the students, but with the nurses, residents, and doctors as well!
NCLEX Review Books
Littman Cardiology III
A binder for each exam (at the end of the semester, compiled them all into file folders... kept me organized)
A storage clipboard (my pants kept falling off trying to keep everything under the sun in the pockets)
A voice recorder I never used. Not even once.
30000 pens, approximately.
Jell-O shots. Lots and lots of Jell-O shots.
Lean Cuisines to feed my kids dinner on "care plan nights." You know, those glorious days of picking your patient and then knowing you will be up until 2:00 am writing your 30 page care plan due the next morning at 6:30!! Didn't you just love those patients that had 40 meds?!!
Don't miss those days!

My new laptop, watch, a couple of nursing diagnosis books. I want to buy some study guides for adult 1 and 2 next semester and when I get a cool phone, I'll buy a couple of apps.
