Favorite things you bought during RN school to help your studies?

Mine would be my 2 voice recorders for each of my classes, my medical dictionary, watch, and nursing fundamentals made easy book.

What was yours?

I can't decide if I want to buy an ipad or a new laptop.

I refuse to use a rolling bag. Drives me nuts seeing guys in their 20's using those things.

Big leather shoulder strap briefcase perhaps?

Need to find some stylish man shoes. Everyone and their mother recommends danskos, but there's gotta be something else out there equally as comfy but doesn't look awful like the danskos.

satherp5 - below is the link to the bag I used during pre-reqs and will be using throughout my grad entry MSN program. I LOVE it. It expands, has great storage, and holds up to the abuse. I just have to be careful I pick up mine and not the hubbs' (I put one of his old name tapes on mine to tell them apart) on the way out the door in the morning. His went thru his USAF deployments and an overseas civilian contract job. PM me if you want to see pictures of it loaded up.

The best things I ever bought were : a book stand to hold up my giant med/surg book, gel highlighters that don't bleed through the page, a smart phone and a drug guide app .

I honestly couldn't do nursing school with out my book stand, it really saved me from neck pain.
