Hi everyone! I am applying to Georgia Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer University.

My gpa is a 3.0 and my school does not have a points system. They consider overall, transfer, and science gpas as well as the NET (Nurse Entrance Test), and an essay.

The deadline is June 8th 2009.

Acceptance is on a rolling basis, so as soon as your file is complete, you will know whether or not you got in. I just submitted my Spring 2009 grades to the school so I should know in the next week or so.

My plan B is to apply to Georgia State University for the Spring of 2010, and if I still don't get in, I am thinking about Respiratory Therapy School. Pray for me everyone. Good luck everybody!

where are you applying? [color=gray] [color=gray]only applying to baker college for lpn, with, possibly, bridge to follow.

what is your gpa and/or points for your school of choice? [color=gray]cum gpa: 3.97, though science pre-reqs 4.0 (and just finishing up a&pii). our school uses points, with a total of 25 pts possible. in the past, those with 21 pts and over have been accepted. i won't know my points until i take the hesi in june.

when is your school's deadline? [color=gray]july 2, 2009.

when do the acceptance letters go out? [color=gray]acceptance letters (and emails if you provide your email address) are supposed to go out by the end of the next week, so around july 8-10 - yay, no long waits. :yeah:my 41st birthday is july 12, so an acceptance just prior would be awesome...lol

what is your plan a, b, c...? [color=gray]there is only plan a, which is to get accepted this time. otherwise, well that is a bridge that i would rather not cross, but if i must i may reapply.

i wish everyone the very best of luck!!! :heartbeat

Where are you applying? Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado.

GPA/Points for school of choice: The points system are 40 for straight A's through the pre-reqs, 10 additional points for a previous degree and 10 points for healthcare experience for at least 2 years (must be patient contact healthcare). My GPA is 3.5 and I have none of the other requirements. It's an ADN program so I'm hoping there won't be a lot of people with previous degrees. The school did state the average GPA was 2.9 though so I'm a plus on that scale!

School's Deadline: Was April 13th.

When do acceptance letters go out? Anytime now. Fingers crossed!!!

What is your plan A, B, C....? Just keep working until I get accepted while working on my RN-BSN bridge classes.

Congrats to all who get in and good luck to everyone still waiting! Go '09 Hopefuls!

Specializes in (none).

Where are you applying?

Santa Ana College (Santa Ana, CA).

What is your GPA and/or points for your school of choice?

35 out of 40 points possible for the pre-req classes.

Overall GPA of 3.3 if I'm not mistaken.

When is your schools deadline?

Actually, I was on a wait list for a year.

When does the acceptance letters go out?

Actually last Friday they were sent out, just got mine today!

What is your plan A, B, C...?

Well for the college itself, I already have my AA.

For the nursing program I'm coming in with no prior experience. Got my cert as an EMT but never practiced before...so just the "normal" ADN. 4 semesters of sleep-deprived goodness.
