  1. Hello everyone. I am an SRNA graduating at the end of 2021. I have always wanted to relocate to California after school was complete. I am interested to know how the work environment is for CRNAs at big California institutions such as UCLA or Keck. Is there much autonomy and opportunitiesfor blocks? How is the working relationship with the anesthesiologists? Any insight that can be provided is helpful. Thanks in advance.
  2. I think they want you to just go back and list the grade that you received for these courses.
  3. I took Pathophysiology and Health Assessment courses in my RN-BSN program. They are usually embedded into the nursing program that you attended and not required as a separate prereq. I hope this helps.
  4. Offlabel! Thank you so much for your detailed response. It was extremely helpful. I would like to work in a large VA after school is over if I go that route. It seems as though it would be extremely gratifying. I am hoping that I will have an opportunity to experience caring for our nation's heroes.
  5. Hi Everybody! I am currently a student registered nurse anesthetist. I am interested in working for the Veterans Administration after graduation and I would like to know what the current needs are for CRNAs in the VA hospitals. Are there any VA CRNAs on the site that can provide feedback about what their particular VA anesthesia care model looks like? Did anyone have the opportunity to take advantage of the HPSP Scholarship through the VA? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
  6. I was accepted at UNF for Spring of 2019. Yes, God's timing is perfect.
  7. I interviewed last year (waitlisted and never received any other feedback) and in my experience LSU offers interviews after the application deadline of August 1st. Good luck to all!!
  8. Check your emails! I just received my interview invite!
  9. My application still says incomplete/complete. Uh oh! Lol. I wonder what that means.
  10. I don't know if I received an interview invite yet. It sounds like they are disseminating the same info out to everyone! Best wishes everybody!
  11. I just received an email that my application is complete and the prospective interview dates. Best wishes to everyone! It would be nice to have multiple options for school.
  12. That would be awesome! Lol! Best wishes to everyone!
  13. I wonder when they will begin contacting applicants for interviews. How exciting and nerve wrecking all at the same time.
