Esme Needs Your Prayers

Published

I've been wondering where Esme is, thinking maybe I just haven't been traveling the same threads as her. Just now I decided to stop waiting to see her around, and searched for her. She hasn't posted since March 6th. I'm going to PM her as well, but in case I don't hear back, is Esme okay? Anyone know her in real life?

I am so happy to hear you are on the mend. You insight has been sorely missed here at AN. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and can't wait to hear that you are finally home.

Welcome back!! :D

Welcome back! Hope your recovery continues to go smoothly!

Hello my dear AN family!!!!

I am finally getting better. I have had a rough road. I became septic from liver abscesses that had an initial 2 liter output soon followed by another 2 liters....for the initial volume of 4 liters!!!!!!! I coded, was intubated and critical on pressers for a couple of weeks. I had a total of 10 drains draining my liver.....sigh

Wow, I am speechless. You must have one hell of a fighting spirit. Glad to know you are on the mend.

Someday, when you feel better, you can write an article about what it's like for a nurse to go through an experience like that. I hope your caregivers are giving you the same quality care you have always provided to others.

Take care.

Esme, what a scary experience! I'm so glad to hear that you're on the mend! Take good care of yourself and may God bless you!

Wow, Esme!

You are a superhero to have made it through all that! I am so happy you've made through all you have and I will continue to pray for you to have strength for the long haul until you're back to where you belong.

Love to you!
