Drexel ACE Fall 2010

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Has anyone heard back from for the fall 2010 class? My husband attended the info session for me a few weeks ago (he works in Philly and I had to work late), and he loved the school. On their website it says you have to have 7 pre-reqs completed prior to applying, but then it says they will not review transcripts until after you are accepted. Does anyone have any info on this?

Hey Wife47 and Tiny Dancer-I feel your pain on the waiting part.....JUST HANG IN THERE! I checked the mailbox and my email everyday after I thought that I should had recieved my application. I believed that it only took like three weeks for me to hear back from .

I got my letter in the mail today (applied in early January) . So now I actually have a decision to make. Ahk!

The 2 things that worry me about this program are:

1) course load (21+ credits each quarter)

2) length of program (how many clinical hours would we be getting in 11 short months?)

Other than that it looks good...

And if $35,000 is the cost for the WHOLE program (not just one academic year), then this is a good deal, compared to other private schools.

Ahhh! I just applied to ACE for Fall 2010 yesterday! I'm so nervous/excited/anxious to find out the verdict. How long did most of you need to wait to hear back from them? Also, I was an engineering major for my first degree and my GPA is only a 3.1, is this in the range of you other accepted applicants? Any info would be appreciated :).

Shadley

When I applied I applied with a 3.17 and was accepted. I was so worried about it being too low. Good luck!

does anyone know if a "Human Lifespan Growth and Development" (nursing department course) class will count towards Developmental Psych? In other words, has anyone had the Developmental Psychology requirement filled with anything other than a psychology course?

06california-You should contact Peggy Breslin, who is the academic advisor over the Ace program, to ask about the Human Lifespan Growth and development class.

I was admitted with a 3.08 GPA with a low science GPA. I also sent my resume and letters of recommendation so that may have helped. GOOD LUCK!

yeah my GPA was 3.1 and I only had one science completed at the time (anatomy and physiology 1) with a B, so don't stress it too much.

Are admissions decisions sent by email or postal service?

Are admissions decisions sent by email or postal service?

by regular mail.

I called the admissions office TODAY and was told a decision had already been made on my application, but they weren't able to discuss it over the phone?!?!

If they made the decision today you should be getting something in the mail soon.
