  1. To people applying for the spring: One of the admissions people I talked to when I was applying told me to use the essay space to share my plan for completing the pre-reqs. I listed the courses I had completed, the grades I got in those classes, and the course #s for the university at which I was planning to take the remaining classes. The essay is definitely not a required part of the ACE application, but I thought the pre-req plan was a good supplement, kind of a proactive self-evaluation. Good Luck!
  2. OK... for the life of me I can't figure out how to PM or email via this site. Can we continue this conversation on facebook? I posted about roommates in the discussion the other day :).
  3. BCH- It took me about a week to get the letter in the mail after the website said I was accepted. Good Luck! 06Cali and BCH- I'm looking for a roommate (or two) as well, I'll PM you two :)
  4. Waka- Thanks! I actually was not on the waitlist, I just had to wait forever (or it seemed like forever) to hear anything so I assumed i was most likely on it. Good Luck!
  5. My application was complete on March 5th and I just heard back today, so a little over 3 weeks. Good Luck!
  6. I just got accepted into ACE for FALL 2010! Very excited right now, I can't wait to see the rest of you in September!
  7. A question for all of those who were accepted to the ACE program Spring 2010 or before... do you know anything about a wait list for admissions? Are people typically accepted off of it or is it a dead end? A few people for Fall 2010 on this blog have been put on wait lists and we're trying to figure out if its based on when we applied (i.e. there aren't any spots yet) or academic achievement. Any input would be appreciated!

  9. I'm still waiting too! I just found out that my application was complete today, it took awhile for them to receive and file my transcript. How long did most of you have to wait to get a verdict once your application was complete?
  10. I just talked to PSU about the Altoona Second Degree Program for Fall 2010. They have not sent out their acceptances yet, but they should go out within the week!!!
  11. Ahhh! I just applied to ACE for Fall 2010 yesterday! I'm so nervous/excited/anxious to find out the verdict. How long did most of you need to wait to hear back from them? Also, I was an engineering major for my first degree and my GPA is only a 3.1, is this in the range of you other accepted applicants? Any info would be appreciated :).
