I'm having a hard time remembering the cranial nerves. Does anyone have a trick to remember the cranial nerves?

I broke the first letters of each nerve into groups of three and it stuck for me:
O-O-O T-T-A F-A-G V-A-H
Remembering what each of them does is a different story!

There are a couple of old mnemonics for this: On Old Olympus Towering Tops A Fin And German Viewed All Hops is the old one that I learned. There is another one: On occasion, our trusty truck acts funny-very good vehicle any how.

I agree with the obscene mnemonic, it's what I used to NEVER forget the cranial nerves.
Also, to know whether the cranial nerves have sensory, motor function, or both, I used this mnemonic:
Some Say Marry Money But My Brother Says Bad Business Marry Money
Hope this helps!
