  1. Just finished praying for you...God is with you!!
  2. You need to sit down and really think about this! Is it legal that you are changing your time on your time card? NO...and what is the rationale for you changing your time?..You are totally cheating yourself out of the time, you are suppose to get paid for!! You are placing your license at risk at this point!! Leave that place!!
  3. DONT EVER GIVE UP!! I failed the NCLEX twice and passed it on my 3rd try. This is what I did. 1. I did at least 100-200 questions daily from NCLEX 3500. 2. Read the Linda Lacharity book twice. 3. Read the Kaplan 2010 edition twice plus did the CD-ROM with questions. 4. Read the Saunders 4th edition book and did every question on each section plus da questions from the CD-ROM. Organize your time wisely and prioritize!! Give yourself enough time to study each and everyday, according to your schedule!! Good LUCK!!
  4. You are putting yourself in a position that you definitely dont want nor need. You are risking your license at this point. My suggestion: GET ANOTHER JOB!!
  5. Saunders Comprehensive Review All the way!!
  6. Depending in the type of care setting because I use to work in a clinic before i went into the medical field and got paid $14/hour with no experience.
  7. I have been working as an LPN for over 2 years in an acute care hospital on the med-surg floor! I, obviously, have plenty of experience from being in a med-surg floor. I graduated from the LPN-RN bridge program in May 2009 and just took boards and passed!! I have decided to look for other opportunites in the medical field. I applied for an RN position in a clinic which stated a competitive salary for new grads so I went ahead and applied for the position. I got a call back and went for an interview. After 4 hours of my time completely wasted, all I end up finding out is that they were willing to pay me $2.00/hour more than what I make now as an LPN. My current job is offering me $6.00/hour more than what I make now!! Why is it that most positions always state "competitive pay" and in actuallity means different???.........................
  8. In my advice, I definitely say stick to Saunders 4th edition, Kaplan and for prioritization Linda Lacharity!! Do as many questions as possible a day! I use to do about 200 questions a day including reading Saunders for 2 whole wks. Best of luck to you!!
  9. Speaking from experience, I definitely agree with goodnursingstudent, Kaplan and Saunders are the best!!
  10. God is Good!! Blessings to all nurses, future nurses, and retired nurses!!!
  11. Illinois. I checked online quick results within 2 days of me taking the exam!

  14. Cheers!! Now, lets celebrate with some superbowl parties...
  15. Hi penny, Im thinking because from prior experiences, I personally have taken NCLEX twice, the first time I failed I tried the trick and it let me register all the way. The 2nd time, I also failed, and again, tried the trick and it let me go all the way! This time around, I was sooo ready for this exam, studied to the fullest, I stopped at 103 questions and once I got home, I tried the trick and it wont let me register!! WE did great!! Lets leave it in Gods hands now!!
