Do not order scrubs from scrubland beyond.com

Public service announcement to all my healthcare worker associates:

DO NOT order anything from scrubsandbeyond.com !!!! They completely ripped me off. I paid extra money for my items to be shipped same day and received the 2nd day. I will be starting a new job on Monday and need a specific color scrub set for each day of the week. Shopping online is really the only option because scrub stores are expensive, few and far between and there's no guarantee they will have the specific colors needed in stock. The shipping I paid $11 extra for stated that if you order before 11am, your order will ship same day and you will receive your order the next business day. I placed my order on Monday after 1pm. So I expected my order to arrive yesterday, (Wednesday). When it did not, I checked online and my order has not even shipped yet!! Here it is Thursday and they haven't been shipped. I called customer service and they told me I MIGHT receive it Monday, which is TOO LATE! They won't give me a refund until I receive them, ship them back, and wait for processing. So NOW, I have to somehow find time to shop for 4 sets of specific color scrubs which will cost me hundreds of dollars in addition to the money already taken from me by scrubs and beyond. And I say "somehow find the time" because I have plans to go out of state camping all weekend. I'm more than just a little ticked off about this!

I love Scrubs and Beyond, and have used them for a few years now. I too am an hour away from a scrub store, but I make the drive when I need to because I can't trust shipping time no matter what they say.

I have returned items to these people and haven't had a problem.

Why do you have to change your scrub color weekly? That is what I'd like to know!

But you are. The OP paid extra for same day processing and next day shipping. She should have received it yesterday, per the service they provide, that she paid extra for.

It states on the website it takes two days for processing.

So the OP won't get her scrubs until tomorrow.

  • 2nd Day and Next Day In-stock orders placed before 2:00 p.m. CT Monday through Friday are expected to ship out same day and be delivered 2nd or next business day depending on the service selected. (These services are not available in all areas.)

SHE SELECTED NEXT DAY SERVICE. By selecting that, and paying a premium, it should have shipped Wednesday at the latest.

Well I don't know what to tell you. It says right there, on their website, that processing can take up to two days. Even with next day service.

And with Monday being a holiday, nothing was processed until Tuesday so it probably wasn't shipped until Wednesday if she doesn't have it yet.

But it is now Thursday and they told her it still hasn't been shipped. Hence her annoyance.

This whole narrative above is a small example of nice people, thoughtful people, jerks, whiners, blamers, uplifters, etc... I see what the OP was trying to convey and its up to that person whether or not they stay mad about an customer-service related issue with a company but geeze don't crucify them:blackeye: lol what does that accomplish? It's a learning opportunity. Just like I say to myself and most anyone else (my unhelpful quote of the day that gets me by hehehe) "It is what it is"

And that's why you shouldn't buy things online if you need them in a hurry. That's happened to me & I've screwed myself.

It's Murphey's Law.

I would say if you need a certain color ASAP, try to hit up Walmart, Burlington Coat Factory, or Forman Mills. I can usually find a cheap decent pair at one of those places for long enough to hold me over until I can get the ones I actually need.

It really sucks when websites don't hold up to their promises. And it sucks even more when people have to tear you down just for throwing out a heads-up.

I wouldn't say to NEVER order from there, but I would definitely be cautious about it in the future. Amazon is EXCELLENT for their shipping. You always get it when they say you'll get it. And you can sign up for a 30-day free trial for Prime and get free 2-day shipping.

Good luck on your new job!

I've had this happen plenty of times, and with many different companies, Amazon included. I live in a rural area so I do a lot of online shopping. Even if they ship on time, half the time the UPS guy leaves me till the end of the day and then says the heck with it I'll do it tomorrow. No lie, this has happened about 7-8 times. I then call and get my money refunded, as well as being ticked off at UPS.

So anyway, I have learned to track my order every day if it is a rush and try to keep on top of it, because you really can't trust what the website or the shipping company says no matter what.

It is the shopper who needs to be informed. It's not fraud because it clearly states that it can't be guaranteed in every state. If the shopper doesn't do their part, then that's their problem.

That disclaimer is there so that people cannot complain when they're informed the shipping option is not available for their location, not so that websites can charge money for a service they cannot provide.

Well that is why the shopper needs to be informed. It is an automated process & will take money when offered (like the PVT). If the shopper doesn't inform themselves of what kind of shipping is available in their area, that is on them.
