Do not order scrubs from scrubland beyond.com

Public service announcement to all my healthcare worker associates:

DO NOT order anything from scrubsandbeyond.com !!!! They completely ripped me off. I paid extra money for my items to be shipped same day and received the 2nd day. I will be starting a new job on Monday and need a specific color scrub set for each day of the week. Shopping online is really the only option because scrub stores are expensive, few and far between and there's no guarantee they will have the specific colors needed in stock. The shipping I paid $11 extra for stated that if you order before 11am, your order will ship same day and you will receive your order the next business day. I placed my order on Monday after 1pm. So I expected my order to arrive yesterday, (Wednesday). When it did not, I checked online and my order has not even shipped yet!! Here it is Thursday and they haven't been shipped. I called customer service and they told me I MIGHT receive it Monday, which is TOO LATE! They won't give me a refund until I receive them, ship them back, and wait for processing. So NOW, I have to somehow find time to shop for 4 sets of specific color scrubs which will cost me hundreds of dollars in addition to the money already taken from me by scrubs and beyond. And I say "somehow find the time" because I have plans to go out of state camping all weekend. I'm more than just a little ticked off about this!

If you have a Walmart close by they have their brand of scrubs cheap, or I would hit a Goodwill for some used ones. Good luck on finding those scrubs and the new assignment!

I would be frustrated as well, since the OP paid the extra and expected the delivery. I would have not trusted an online company to deliver as expected, I'm just biased? Regardless the OP is in the spot they are in. Can you just buy a few of the scrubs now and wait for the rest of your order to get to your home in the next few days. Just because you started a new job doesn't mean you have to have all of your scrubs on day 1.

OC, you are being puzzlingly argumentative. The OP ordered it in Monday. There was no weekend involved. It was a holiday, so like ordering Tuesday morning. It should have been shipped Wednesday, received today. It's now Thursday and hasn't even been shipped yet. If it wasn't available to the OP, they shouldn't have charged her.

I don't get why you're being so contrary to the OP

I use Uniform Advantage when I buy online.

A lot of people on this site I found have been really rude and argumentative. I don't remember this happening years ago but apparently it is quite common for a lot of the replies to be against you no matter what you're talking about which is why I block many of them so I don't bother seeing their foolishness. I mean if the OP ordered something to be delivered by a certain time they should have done that or at least refund her shipping fee

This whole narrative above is a small example of nice people, thoughtful people, jerks, whiners, blamers, uplifters, etc... I see what the OP was trying to convey and its up to that person whether or not they stay mad about an customer-service related issue with a company but geeze don't crucify them:blackeye: lol what does that accomplish? It's a learning opportunity. Just like I say to myself and most anyone else (my unhelpful quote of the day that gets me by hehehe) "It is what it is"

Thank YOU, you hit the nail on the head.

Lol. I have so much to say but I'm gonna bite my tongue.

But I find it funny that I'm rude & argumentative that I pointed something out to the OP.

That's a good idea

Well you said enough I think lol and yes sometimes it's not what you say but how you say it. If someone tells the OP to next time do this and offer some encouragement instead of beating them down that's makes a big difference.

I didn't beat anyone down. I said she should've looked into where & what shipping was available. I gave her advice. I was blunt but geeze, I'm not gonna treat her like she's a baby. She's an adult.

No one is beating the OP down but pointing out that she did not correctly read all the terms of next day processing.

OP, that really sucks. It sounds like your employer didn't give you a whole lot of time to get your scrubs. You'd be better off complaining to the company themselves, as they are the only ones who can make it at least a little bit better.

I've never shopped with scrubs and beyond. I had one issue with uniform advantage, had them fix it, and started shopping local. It costs more but I like to have to peace of mind to have it in my hands and know it fits.

SHE SELECTED NEXT DAY SERVICE. By selecting that, and paying a premium, it should have shipped Wednesday at the latest.

It also says (twice) "expected delivery/shipping times only"), which I guess is their way of saying that its not guaranteed. Which sucks. I also went through and clicked some stuff to buy and selected the shipping option just to see, and what it says when you go through to process is slightly different wording...which makes it hard to know which is true.

OP, I would be unhappy with them, too.

I would say if you need a certain color ASAP, try to hit up Walmart, Burlington Coat Factory, or Forman Mills. I can usually find a cheap decent pair at one of those places for long enough to hold me over until I can get the ones I actually need.

It really sucks when websites don't hold up to their promises. And it sucks even more when people have to tear you down just for throwing out a heads-up.

I wouldn't say to NEVER order from there, but I would definitely be cautious about it in the future. Amazon is EXCELLENT for their shipping. You always get it when they say you'll get it. And you can sign up for a 30-day free trial for Prime and get free 2-day shipping.

Good luck on your new job!

Also, if you have Amazon Prime and you dont receive your item by the guaranteed delivery date, you will be given 1 month of Prime for free. If you DON'T have prime, they refund your shipping costs.

I had to order from them last minute a couple of weeks ago and I received mine on time. I had gone to their store and they did not have the color I needed. I had driven to another scrub shop and I ordered from them. This was a mom and pop scrub store. They waited a week and on the day my scrubs were supposed to arrive, they texted me to tell me they could not get them in. I was not happy with this shop as I needed them for clinical the following Tuesday and this was Friday afternoon!! So I had to order from scrubsandbeyond online Friday afternoon. I paid $35 for overnight shipping and even though I was passed the 2pmCT timeframe, they were shipped out Friday overnighted and I received at 10am Monday morning.

I love them!!!
