When I was a CNA I helped with circs - a lot. My babies never cried, and they called me "The Baby Whisperer". The residents always asked for me when they were doing circs

The Lieutenant when I work in a Rehab hospital...it was fitting, since I am a Memorial Day baby :wavy:

I am "The Golden Retriever" since I have hands and wrists small enough to dig documents out of the narrow slot of the "Shred" bin when someone accidentally throws something in there they really didn't mean to! HAHA!!

Sweet Darling'! Why, I don't know. Apparently the nurse that gave me that name was off that day I went into sailor-mode.

TT (toe-tapper) and Jamerica

I have a few. Some based on my name, some based on my personality. The patients give some too, when we have long term patients introduce me as the "cool nurse" or the " Crazy as we are nurse"... yeah those are my favorite ones.

At my last job they started calling me the "Angel of Death" after I had a few DNR patients die on me in a two week period. At my job I haven't earned a nickname yet, which is fine with me.

Outside of "Blackcloud" at my last job which was nothing unique, everyone was calling me Mexiwegian because I am half Mexican and half Norwegian but our Doc and Medical Director changed it to Norexican. So that's what everyone calls me now.

Oh and in dealing with crazy patients people will tell me to go handle "my people" lol I've also been coined the urethra whisperer because I haven't had a cath I couldn't get since Nursing School.

Not me but I nickname most of our pts. One person with a farmer's tan is "Two-Tone" and one person who is so out of it that you can hear chirping when you ask a question, is called "Crickets." The pt who refuses to let me administer a shot is "The President of My Fan Club."
